hooked on spider...solitaire, that is...

i'm just sitting here playing some good ol' spider solitaire as some friend's thoughts float around in my mind... and ya know what i'm doing? i'm throwing my aunt's cat's ball for him b/c he FETCHES!!! can ya believe that?!?! A CAT!! he's the sweetest lil' guy ever... and i seriously think he's made it his goal in life to replace their deceased dog's (Raven) spot... b/c he's w/ you at all times, plays fetch and carries the toy back to you and drops in at your feet... and eats just about anything (like a true lab like Raven) and is always purring and plays in the water and he only meows when he doesn't know where you are (like when he's outside). doesn't he just sound adorable? if i had camera, i'd take a pic and maybe it'd someday end up on the puter somewhere... but i'd want it to be a pic of him sitting there looking at ya w/ his red ball in his mouth-- in hopes of you playing with him.

Siamese Soulmate --06.30.03 Monday--
I sought him out and found him there,
Sitting quietly in that chair;
Great blue eyes all wide with wonder,
Asking what was all that noisy thunder.

Heavenly hands pet him all day,
As he romps about in play;
Brushing against my legs in hope,
That I'll give him a morsel-- but nope.

Handsome fur of brown and cream,
Full of softness and iridescent gleam;
Keeps you laughing and full of mirth,
As he follows about like a pup and lays at the hearth.

Tommy is my little friend,
Brown and cream and purrs and bends;
Full of amusement and laughing eyes,
Never meows or ever cries.

Body of smooth contortionist style;
Eyes full of mischievous playful intent;
Purr full of warmth and invigorating to all;
Always happy to just be at your beck and call.

just wrote that sitting here online... playing w/ Tommy. i'll eventually get pics of that cutie at some point... just found out that my uncle, dad, and family friend all lost their lunch when they went out fishing today up in alaska... how funny is THAT?!?!?

gotta go turn off the sprinkler over @ the a-frame... gotta go!

and i didn't mention this... just remembered... got my SAT scores today-- got a 1010... which isn't bad. 490 math and 520 verbal... i think Ana got a 1020 and steve got a 1050 and alex got a 1030... that seems right... i guess i did pretty well. gonna go look online @ my scores and such...
